2008: A Questionnaire

Was 2008 good for you? I wouldn’t call it great, but overall it was good.
What was your favorite moment of the year? Any time spent laughing with friends.
What was your worst moment of the year? Probably living in my old place. It wasn’t really a home…
Where were you when 2008 began? At the Cannery Ballroom watching the Guilty Pleasures
Who were you with? A great group of friends.
Where were you when 2008 ended? With the same group of friends (minus a few, plus some new additions) at the Cannery Ballroom watching the guilty pleasures
Did you keep your new years resolution of 2008? I didn’t make make one.
Do you have a new years resolution for 2009? No.
Did you fall in love in 2008? No
Did you breakup with anyone in 2008? No, but I went on a lot of first dates.
Did you make any new friends in 2008? A few in Nashville, and I did meet a lot of new people via the internet who I stay in pretty regular contact with.
What was your favorite month of 2008? August
Why this month? I saw a lot of great concerts that month and spent over a week in my beloved Seattle with friends and family.
Did you travel outside of the US (or your home country) in 2008? Yes, Bahamas.
How many different places did you travel to in 2008? Miami and the Bahamas, Charleston, WV x3, Louisville, KY x2, Minneapolis, MN, New York City, Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta x2, LA x2, New Orleans, Seattle.
Did you miss anybody in the past year? Lots of people. Mainly friends and family who live far, far away
What was your favorite song from 2008?

How many concerts or plays did you see in 2008? A lot of concerts, no plays. A Band of Horses, Butterfly Boucher x2, Josh Ritter, the Weakerthans, John Mayer X6, Dave Matthews Band, Colbie Caillat x 4, John McLaughlin, MIA, The Swell Season x2, The Helio Sequence, The Kills, The Raconteurs, Iron and Wine, Sister Hazel, Andy Davis, The Black Keys, Blitzen Trapper, Bruce Springsteen, Low vs. Diamond, The Dynamites, Kings of Leon, SOOOOO many at Voodoo Fest, Matisyahu. I think that’s it…
Did you have a favorite concert in 2008? There are a couple for different reasons. John Mayer in NYC, Iron and Wine, and Kings of Leon.
What was your favorite book in 2008? The Twilight series
Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? Gaining some weight back.
What was the biggest lie you told in 2008? It was to myself…
Did you treat somebody badly in 2008? Not intentionally.
Did somebody treat you badly in 2008? Let’s not go there.
What was your proudest moment of 2008? Graduating with my MBA.
What was your most embarrassing moment of 2008? I don’t embarrass easily.
If you could go back to any moment of 2008 and change something, what would it be? I don’t like to live like that.
Where did you work in 2008? Same place as 2007.

Favorite Food in 2008? I LOVE food!

Favorite person(s) to talk to in 2008? Mom, Jewel, Jenny
Favorite trip in 2008? It’s hard to pick just one. With friends it would be the Mayercraft Carrier and with my mom it would be to Minnieapolis (but I got to see friends on this trip too!)
Favorite stores in 2008? Trader Joe’s.
Hardest thing you had to go through in 2008? Apartment getting broken into, coming to grips with some weight issues.
Most exciting moment(s) in 2008? Being asked to speak at a conference for my industry.
Funniest moment(s) in 2008? There are so many I don’t even know where to start ☺
