The Cat and the Hat

My mom and I went to the dollar store last week in search of tins for cookies and candy. We found them and my mom also found a pink santa hat that looked like it would fit a baby. She bought it and I didn't even question it which is odd considering there are no babies in our family or no babies even remotely close to being born...

We get home and my mom goes to her sewing machine. She sews on an elastic band to the pink santa hat. She tells me it is for Sox, the cat. And she proceeds to put it on. It lasted about 20 seconds and that was that.

Sunday night while watching the Sound of Music, I decided we should take some family photos with the cat and the hat. (my brother was at a friends house and missed out on all the excitement).
