Adele

Adele.  Chances are you haven't heard of her.  If you have, then you know how amazing she is.

I have watched this video a few times and I get chills every time I watch it.

She is touring the States in the spring, if you can GO.  And also her new album, 21, is fantastic.

The Heart of Life

This morning as I was getting up to start the day, my grandma passed from this life into another to join my grandpa.  It wasn't unexpected, but at the same time when she had preventative surgery in December we never it expected it would lead to this.

My trip to Seattle this week will be different from others, but I know we will celebrate and honor her life.

In case you don't follow me on Twitter or Facebook or you're my mom and I haven't talked to you in a few days (where have you been when I've tried to call?!?!), this might be news to you.

Do you know what I will be doing on October 9, 2011?

I will be running a FULL marathon in Chicago.

26.2 miles.

I've signed up for it and the hotel is booked.

I even convinced my running buddy to run it too.

I never once imagined I would be doing a full.

I am not getting any younger!
