Weekend Recap

I took a half day on Friday because a friend came into town for the weekend. Wed headed to Lynchburg, TN, home of Jake Daniels, for the afternoon. We were back in Nashville in time for dinner. Where I consumed a huge order of bacon cheese fries and a 5 Alarm burger. BUT I did split it, so that should count for something. After dinner we headed to my favorite bar where I had two celebrity sightings: Joe Don Rooney from Rascal Flatts and John Legend. Obviously I was more impressed with John Legend.

Saturday I hit up the Loveless Cafe for some nice down home fried goodness of chicken tenders (I ate one of the 3 huge ones on my plate), fruit cup, hash brown casserole, and the famous biscuits of course. Back home to get ready for SANTA RAMPAGE 2009. This now ranks as one of my favorite events of the year. Lots of fun, laughs, and drinks.

Sunday, I obviously slept in. Had a late lunch at the Pancake Pantry. Mmmmm Raspberry delight pancakes. Yum! I was a day early, but I guess the Taylor's (as in Swift and Lautner) had a late lunch there today.

I finished off the weekend at the Ten out of Tenn Christmas show with Andy Davis, Erin McCarley, Butterfly Boucher, and Katie Herzig to name a few.

All I Want for Christmas

All I want for Christmas is a boyfriend (well it's not all I want, but still). Is that too much too ask? I didn't think so.

I know all the struggles that come along with said gift, but I would gladly take some of that to not have to do everything by myself. F being independent.

Oh, and reindeer antlers on cars are dumb. I hope I haven't offended any readers who might have said antlers on their car. At least if you have them, I hope you drive a minivan or a station wagon.

I never thought I would blog about this

A bullet style update

-I ran a 5k last night. It was cold. Really cold. My time was 28:06. Definitely not my best, but not my worst time. I am partially blaming all the walkers I had to maneuver around and cold. Oh the cold. Oh and the hill.

-This might be TMI, but I never knew what it was called until last night. Let's just say 3-4 miles is about my max. This could be bad if I plan to run the half marathon.

-Chipotle has been open for 2 weeks in Nashville. The line you ask? 30+ minutes long no matter when I go. I hear it stays that way the entire day too.

-Next weekend is Santa Rampage. I will be dressing up. Will I be drinking? That is TBD.
