I'm not even a practicing Christian and I give something up for Lent each year. This year it was pizza (bad choice!) and I'm so fearful I'll eat it before Easter and God will hate me or something. It wasn't til this week I realized if I could give up my fav food for 40 days, then I totally can change a lot of stuff. I'm kinda throwing it all under Lent--so I don't know if its still really for me.
